Ashraf Ali Zuberi S/O Haji Mustafa Ali Sahab was born on July 5th, 1935 at Kamboh gate Meerut City, India. The Muslim Kamboh of Uttar Pradesh, India, are a Muslim community that is part of the wider Kamboh ethnic group of South Asia. They are also known as “Zuberi”. They are entirely Urdu speaking. Almost half of the community migrated to Pakistan and are now found all around the globe. Ashraf Ali Zuberi’s parents were late Haji Mustafa Ali Sahab and Mohtarma Tasneem Fatima were all residents and born in Meerut City, which is around 100 kilometers from India’s capital New Delhi, Uttar Pradesh (UP). Haji Mustafa Ali Sahab was a registrar at the local courthouse in Meerut City and Mohtarma Tasneem Fatima was a housewife. Ashraf Ali Zuberi’s siblings include seven (7) sisters and two (2) brothers. In order of their birth are late Mrs. Qaiser Waheed-Uddin elder sister; Ashraf Ali Zuberi; Mrs. Ashraf Jahan Nawab Ali; Mrs. Musharraf Aftab; Mr. Rashid Mustafa; Mrs. Fehmida Shamshad; Mr. Khalid Mustafa; late Mrs. Khalida Athar; Mrs. Sanjida Tariq; and Mrs. Rehana Javed. Ashraf Ali Zuberi migrated to Hasalpur town in Bahawalpur district Pakistan in the year 1951. He shifted to Karachi in 1957 and started his first job as an observer in the Meteorological department, Karachi-Pakistan and left at the position of senior observer.
